Meet Master Monopoly Man mAlan

Alliteration is always fun. Especially when it doesn't make sense.

Today was a day to play monopoly. And the lesson i want to teach you all today is that even when you have the shitty Purple Pall Mall set, you're in jail, the train stations are split between 3 players, the Picadilly set has been taken, Mayfair and Parklane are charging $1m just to rent; it's not over.

I managed to come from that situation and sweep the game out from my opponents. It was quite a surprising game as many did not see it (duh) and we didn't scream and threaten to kill each other like we normally did.

I remember back as a kid, we use to play and we had some crazy rules. Didn't need a colour set to build, can only build if you land on your own property, four hotels on a property is a possibility, utilities and stations were the worse things ever and screaming and shouting at each other for ???

Even then we didn't give up. IOU to the banks and each other was the currency we traded in. And even now, with this new Monopoly Revolution (times HAVE changed) and proper rules we don't give up.

Don't give up. That's the theme for 2011.

2011 Resolutions

Well seeing as i didn't even bother to make resolutions for 2010, i don't even have to review them.

How much win is that?

Too much.

Anyways, resolutions for this year.

1.  Finish all the Green Belt Forms. That doesn't mean get my Blue Belt. Just finish all the green ones. So i got GBT, Tigerfork and Doublehooks. 1 every four months. Do-able.

2. No yakking from booze. Sickness from sea, bacteria and food is fine

3. See the four letters of ADFS added onto my name. Should be easy,

4. Save another $10k. Whether in shares or cash. Doesn't matter.

2011 will be the year of the Rabbit!
