Warm

It's the depths of winter in Perth at the moment. We have been having outlandish weather with 14 highs and don't even get me started on the mornings. Rain, wind and sunshine can all happen in one day. I am seriously considering gloves and scarf but then again, it's not snowing. Harden up? It IS cold.

Since I've been studying for exams, I've been drinking a lot of coffee and redbull. Keep with me, this all flows on.

Coffee: espresso/long black and hot
Redbull: sugar free (it's cheaper) and cold

This morning I went for a redbull and then got down to some study. I left the redbull near my computer and forgot about it as I immersed myself in reformulated financial statements. I realised it wasn't finished and when I picked up the can I realised it was warm.

Not warm like tea warm, but more like a few degrees above room temperature. Basically, this ran through my mind:

"Should I drink it?"

"Yes, it's $2.49. That's money not to be wasted"

"No, it's warm. Warm redbull Alan."

"Yes, you have an exam."

"No, it will be like drinking cough medicine" (I hate medicine)

"Yes, it's cold outside. It'll be like drinking a lukewarm flat white with no milk"

"No, it's 8.47 in the morning"

"Yes, don't waste things"

The last two yes arguments probably tipped me over the edge. Shoulders shrugging, I went for the gulp.

Still finished it though. And it didn't get better the closer I got to the bottom.
