Yummmmmm…SING!

This weekend was a rollercoaster of events. So I’m warning you now…this is a long entry.

Saturday

Saturday was a very important day for many reasons. Most importantly it was the wedding of Big Trev (Yut Gor as Andy likes to call him) and his girlfriend of eight years Natalie. The wedding ceremony was at the Franklin St. Church in Leederville (very nice…the steeple can be seen if you drive down Loftus St.). The placed was packed! Small Trev looked very ‘sharp’ with his belt (lesson 1: find belts that fit you if not punch more holes in them).

We went to the reception were Trev (small) and I performed a new lion dance routine. It was a long lion dance but had lots of meaning behind it. A few *hiccups* but nothing major or that anyone would of noticed. Well…I know anyways. After the dance, the Yaolin boys got changed and headed back into the reception dressed in suits and black shoes. Looking very suave and sharp it was time to celebrate Trev’s wedding. On a side note, B2 said that the biggest pretty boy out of the fella’s was probably big Richo. Hehehe…that $50 gel story will never stop being funny.

Food was great…but I missed out on the chicken and pork because i changing. I made up for it with the free drinks ^_^

Speaking of drinks on my first Crown, this waitress who looked like Scarlet Johansson was leaning forward to give me the drink which was on her tray (with about 6 others). No prizes for guessing what happened next…well if you didn’t guess, she spilt some on me and my jacket. Sean who was sitting next to me had a good laugh at my misfortune. I think he jinxed me and used hypnotic subliminal messages to Scarlet to tip it on me.

Congratulations Big Trev! I wish you all the best and much more for you and your wife. Terrific wedding and reception and that can only be a good sign of the great things to come.

A “few” drinks later and after the bride and groom disappeared, the boys hung around for a bit talking to the waitresses and waiters (I knew one from high school…3rd degree of Perth. Sheeesh!). Scarlet Johansson afterwards was very apologetic about the whole incident...being the nice guy I am (self-promotion) I said it was not a problem. Forgiven and forgotten.

The waiters all picked up heaps of free drinks…premium free drinks might I add. Cheers to Lyn-lee who told me the WCE footy scores during the night.

A shout-out to Caroline who must of missed my wonderful presence in the arvo. She had her 19th birthday party which I heard went of off spectacularly (I don’t actually know but I hope it did). Sorry! Next time then! I (more like we: Kath, Niss, Shirlz and Lyn-lee) got you a present too. Expect it during the week.

Sunday

I felt really crooked come Sunday morning. Those ‘few’ drinks were definitely being felt at 10am on Sunday. I think I could still taste the white wine from last night. Yuk! Going to dim sum at Joy Garden with my cousins and family wasn’t bad though.

The splitting head-ache had dulled to a nauseating pain (lesson 2: don’t drink boys and girls); thankfully I didn’t get the sensational feeling of last night’s dinner or the gross amount of har gow (prawn dumpling) I ate coming back up my throat. Yakking is un-cool and I’m super-cool (self-promotion...again).

After a fun filled dim sum which included tormenting my cousin, I headed home to go meet my Asian business group and prepare for tomorrow’s presentation. It’s great that Perth is so small…my group members got my phone number without me giving it to them. Where would we be without Perf Syndrome (anyone read this month’s Pelican…?).

Anyone catch the Dockers game? Wowzers…watching that final quarter they’ve earned some respect. And the Hawks game had me breathless…amazing stuff really. And go the Eagles!! Top of the ladder at long last and a thrashing of the former AFL giants. Pity I missed it but Trev’s wedding outweighed a lot of other options. Finally as this weekend closes tomorrow marks the most important day in the Decepticons FC. We play against Darren Wong’s Team Rocket at 5.00pm at the Rec Centre. Come down and watch us!

Pictures are coming!!

Z-Force at Emperors Court

Tonight was a celebration for Jack Wong Sue (a Z-Force soldier) doing a lion dance for his par-tay at Emperors Court. Very interesting character. The dance was actually quite good (other then one jump) but after coming out and bowing i felt very good inside. He was really old (turns 81) and in a wheelchair and surrounded by his loved ones. Diggers are so cool. Afterwards we just headed back to Yaolin and i learnt the dance for Big Trev on Saturday night *gulp*

Unfortunately I missed out on the inaugral TC Youth (the newest most hottest youth social club in Perth) meeting at TAKA. Hmmz...still need to find one more TC girl.

Anyway, its been quiet on the Alan front. No big news. Except ITF exam...the World of Alan has been smooth sailing. This weekend is packed-ed.

- Mum's bday tomorrow
- Work on saturday from 10 - 3
- Caronlines bbq (looks unlikely...)
- 3.30 saturday onwards is Trev's wedding (expect photo's!)
- Reception and performance later that night (expect more photos'!)
- Brunch for mum on sunday
- Group meeting sunday arvo
- Assignment due Monday

Packed-ed!!! What a short entry...for such a super busy few days.

The Guy in the Green Shirt

["The Three Musketeers": Nissa, Kath and Shirley]

The other day the Musketeers (I will never tire of it ladies) organised an Easter bbq! And what a bbq it was!

The day began with Lyn-lee and I meeting in the city waiting for a ride from Niss and her brother Kit outside Macca's on Hay St. Outside Macca's, Lyn-lee gave me hell to no end about my brilliant organisation skills. These two dodgy looking fella's outside Macca's were laughing their heads off at me because she was yelling so loudly and making a scene. Restraint: learn it ^_^. I got my revenge...who remembers the guy in the green shirt? Lyn-lee would...so would everyone else.

Kit gave a us a ride to Mill Point and the joined us for the day (though he left a bit earlier). Pretty cool bloke with a good left foot kick and pretty tricky with a soccer ball too. Unfortunately Kath and the others had decided to park on the far side of Mill Point (near the Yaolin site) and Kit had parked near CoCo's bar. It was long walk…but better then a walk from bus 34. Cheers mate-o.

[Glorious food!]

There was soooo much food at the bbq and not so many people. A good thing really considering i ate heaps, but no matter how much i tried to make a dent in those plates filled with sausages and chicken wings it seemed as if it would never stop coming. I brought drinks and drowned the meat in alot of fanta and vanilla coke (yuk! When its not cold its gross). The very lovely ladies (below) dominated the bbq while the guys kicked the soccer ball around. As it should be!! Just jokes…very grateful. We got like two hackeys between all of us fellas with some tricky stuff coming from Danial. The food you see up there was at the beginning...by the end it had quadrupled!

[“The Musketeers and d’Artagnan”: Shirley, Lyn-lee, Kath and Nissa]

Our numbers dwindled alarmingly fast, with Angela (a very nice Curtin girl who i talked to for all of 20 minutes), Kit and Mike (Darren's friend) all leaving for other commitments. Lyn-lee dissappeared around two-ish as well...taking my phone and wallet with her. Phoneless and walletless i was feeling very naked. They form my 2 of my triumvirate, the other being my watch (for show only). Leaving the Musketeers, Dan, Gerard, Darren and yours truly to finish off a brilliant day. And the weather cleared up amazingly well too! Look how over-cast the skies are above and then below...wowzers!

After kicking the soccer ball around (with the girls forming a very dangerous three-pronged attack…you can catch Nissa-dinho, Shirlado and Kaka-thleen at the World Cup ^_^) we all headed into the city to get some BubbleTea, making a brief stopover at Kath's house. Kath's driving is pretty good; she beat Dan at the lights in her Corolla! At utopia I had the chrysanthemum (I prefer Tea Fusion but the utopia chrys isn’t too bad). What the heck was Shirley drinking at utopia!?!?! Her bubble-tea tasted like medicine...and not the jellybean flavor either! The gross weird type.

I had to dock down to Lyn-lee’s place to grab my wallet and phone. I pulled into her drive way, saw a rustle of the window curtains (probably waiting for me...there was no rustle but i guessed there was) and literally within two seconds of pressing the doorbell she had was there smiles and all. I hung around her place for a bit, giving her a bunch of the day’s photos and listening to her atrocious taste in music. Love songs are great and all…but anything in excess is unhealthy (except icecream).

The guy in the green nike shirt was a notable part which I’ll leave out. For Lyn-lee’s sake…I am a nice guy (self-promotion again).

That time of the semester again

[At the Malaysian Lion Dance Camp. Good times!!]

Yaolin's post chinese new year bbq was on monday down at Mill Point. The Yaolin Football League (YFL) saw the unearthing of B2 as our best full foward (150cm) kicking 3 goals. Sifu dominated the ruck and racked up heaps of possessions, Natalie kicked a bag of goals at full forward, Andy was devastating all over the field (his the tallest and amazingly fit too). Trev was our half-back doing little damage and i was tagging Sean all day (illegal tactics mostly). I got a huge bump laid on me by Sifu, Sean took me out a few times (niggling him heaps) and Andy body slammed me too. Lotsa of fun. Everyone else down at Mill Point was watching us and cheering us on. A bunch of asians playing AFL...i love Australia.
Random Aussie Guy: "It's good to see you fella's playin' AFL"
So much fun and bbq...yum! My ideal day.
Mid way through the Easter Break and i'm surprised at the amount of study i've accomplished. And proud of it too! Amazing things such as "understanding" happens when you actually focus. Geeze...Fishers Separation Theorem actually makes sense now! The joy that ITF brings me is extraordinary -_-"

Phill is off to Melbourne and Mum and Penny are up in Coral Bay which means I'm all alone at home. So for the next two days or so i'm fending for myself. Anyone who knows me is aware of my inept domestic skills namely my inability to cook anything with more then three steps of instructions. My expertise lies in Cereal and icecream (which i do a fantastic job of). Dinner tonight was provided by my loving cousins who look out for me to no end.

Studying was today's theme. I woke up pretty late and had to spend the majority of the afternoon in the Reid. I saw Lyn-lee today and she's been crying (the crying is partly my fault) about her new haircut. She cut herself a fringe and declared it look horrendous. Well today i got to see it. Strolling into the Law Library i see her waving hysterically to me; her haircut looks exactly the same. Maybe a little tiny bit different but no way as transforming as my haircut a few week ago. She exaggerates everything.

Being a gentleman i gave her a ride home. See what a nice guy i am? (shameless self promotion, I know) I even look out for my fans.

Enjoy!

Friends don’t let friends wear mullets

At last! The Easter/Study Break begins! Thursday saw the closure of the first half of a semester. It started with an intense study session in the morning to launch my ITF exam preparation. Funnily enough, I managed to get some study done. Thursday also marked a very important day…it was the end of the Assassin’s Competition.

I managed to find my target, unfortunately when you’re carrying a can of shaving cream and sneaking up on someone their friends tend to notice you. Then before you know it they’ve gotten undercover and you’re lurking in the Ref waiting for him to move. *sigh* Not much of a ninja am I? Ninja’s are like overalls: super cool.

I hung with Lisa, Caroline and Noelle for a bit (while I was watching my target) and then wandered over to Kay-thleen, Neee-sa, Shy-ly and Darren for a bit. Garrick came over and we decided to go and play soccer with some of the engineering guys. Darren knew some of the other guys playing on the oval (Keith and Andy I think) and we played a bit of 4 on 4. That chewed up the better half of the hour and then off to EBS to enjoy the final lecture before the break. Niss and I played Hangman...difficult words included: Adam Brody and Hilary Duff.

Got home around 5.00ish spent the next hour or picking an outfit. Everything seemed to just clash with my shoes, then another half an hour doing my hair. I just couldn’t get the naturally messy look going. So frustrating because I couldn’t find the gel I normally use.

Per-lease

I got home at 5.00ish; showered and then put on some pants. Sat around watching Sports Tonight until about six (still hadn’t chosen a shirt) and just before I left I chose a dark blue shirt that looked nice and fit even better. A quick run of gel and I was good to go. An hour and a half to get ready…absurd!!!

Phillip and I got to Sean’s house, were we lounged around for James and then took a taxi to the Barrack St. Jetty. This year the River Cruise was quite good (probably because a certain bunch of guys weren’t all drunk). I had about 4 (???) drinks (thanks to Darren for my last drink) and felt fine albeit light headed. The dance floor was extremely crowded the whole night, absolutely wild. The music wasn’t too bad either considering I’m re-igniting my interests in hip-hop/RnB.

The belle of the Cruise was…um…”interesting relationship with her friend”. I think whoever saw it knows what I’m talking about. The beau…hmmm…again…”learn micro-phone control” is probably the most flattering thing I can say about him. Congratulations to Trev (ex-MSU president I must note) who won FIRST prize in the raffle. Who senses corruption? Nice shirt Trev…we must be horrible friends.

Afterwards the MSU Committee and the Yaolin boys (Quan and Isaac even came down!) headed over to China Dragon in Chinatown were we feasted until about 1.30am (it was huge…a lot of people I think close to 30). The MSU numbers dwindled away until finally all that was left were the Yaolin boys. With nothing else planned, we called it a night at around 2 o’clock. I still think kicking a footy around would have been good ^_^

Sunsets and the 500 Milestone

Today proved to me how much i need to catch up on sleep. On the way home from the city i fell asleep (the newspaper forced me to sleep, nothing really happening except Gilly's 144) and woke up four stops from my normal drop off point. It was quickly getting dark and i was damn cold too. The sunsets title is in reference to how quickly winter crept up on me. The sunset today was really early around 6.30pm (ish). Although...it was very nice; reddish-orange glow on the tip of the horizon and then became this deep blue-green which then plunged into black with a few stars out. The moon looked almost full too. I tell ya mates...the sun may rise in the east but at least it sets in a final location.

Damn...where do the days of summer go?

It's bad form to start at the end of your day.

The morning was busyily and boringly filled with study. I day dreamed quite a bit while studying. I had my notes with me the whole day and i like to walk around with them while i read them to myself. Reciting points and formulas (whatever) outloud. I never realised how stupid i must look muttering to a piece of paper. Not to mention how many people i accidentally bumped into.

I saw Shy-ly/Shirlz/Spoo (click on it; i stumbled across this researching about Jedi as a religion) with Danial on the James Oval heading over to the MCL labs to hang out. They ditched me (say what!?!?) so i lunched with Leisure guys instead. Our Scholarship is beginning to take some substance.

I had a morning coffee down in the Reid Cafe. Ugh...the flat white was awful. It tasted horrible and now that i've begun to learn more about coffee culture i can be pretentious and whine about their cappucino too. That also tasted craptastic. Craptastic like the Sydney Swans start of the year ^_^ (hope they lose against Carlton. Reigning wooden spoon defeat reigning premiers). Biggest bunch of pretenders.

[Pretenders: Notice how there are no WCE players? WCE not pretenders. Go to hell Leo Barry]

Congratulations to my little sister (hehehe) Caroline who sent me my 500th SMS asking of an allied health ticket which i sadly did not have. Speaking of SMS and phones i once again thrashed my bill this month. I sent 192 SMS (thats like 50 bucks worth of SMS) in March which is an all time new record. They even gave me special discounts because of how much i use Superman (my phones name...dorky i know). Heck...i think i might have thrashed this months bill too. Maybe a cap should be in good order...

The TC club is looking more solid every day. Club objectives have been formulated and very soon we will have a real club name and more then just 5 members.

What a dull entry. My wit is beginning to dull. I need some salad. Fresh salad. And work. Why didn't i get that job? Fresh salad and work. Salad and work. Salad. Work. I need them both.

From A-la-la-la-n Chung

PS: I've looked at other peoples (except for Trev's, Kae's and Michelle's) blog for the first time (another case of my god-complex). They all have cool skins and stuff. Maybe i should change it around a little. I wonder how?

F i n _ i n _ _ e m _ Can i have a z? x? q? q? I said q!?!?

Woke up feeling a bit dizzy and everything was more or less spinning. It wasn't a head-ache or anything but i think its from the lack of sleep i'm getting. Righti-o! After the Easter Break its going to be bed time at midnight everynight! My muscles were a little bit sore from the soccer game yesterday but after a blistering hot shower i felt much much better. I felt even better when i saw we were having pan cakes. Who doesn't like pan cakes?

It was off to uni for a packed Tuesday morning. The EBS lecturer was really bad, he talked really really slow. Robert Milne...anyone know him? Speaks like this:
"Today (pause) Narzim (pause) will (pause) not (pause) (pause) (pause) be (pause) here (pause) I will be filling (pause) in"
It reminded me of a CD skipping. But you didn't miss words or get it repeated...you were just waiting for the next word for an agonizing second. Those seconds pile up mate-o and they get damn annoying! Hehehe...Neeeeeee-sa and Kayesha (I think thats how you spell her name...not Kaysha) were playing hangman too. Always choose these letters first to heighten the excitement: "z" "q" "x" and "w". With those eliminated your almost dead if you didn't get extraordinarily lucky.

ITF was much much better. Sat with Josh and Michael in the first half and then with Shirlz (good luck in your MA exam) in the second half. She looked all alone in the first half...she even messaged me to ask why i abadoned her. I was like 10 seats away mate-o -_-" Played a bit of hangman too in ITF with her; Shirlz proving too good by playing boringly (like the Crows did in round 1 against the Pies).

[ Neil Craig = Master of boring footy ]

Craig, Bomber Thompson and Rocket Eade to a lesser extent are the only real threats to the eagles this year. The Saints will dissappoint as always and I tell ya...the era of the Lions and Power is over.

Success! I got 85% in my last EBS test! Very very happy! Who would of thought hard work and studying paid off and garnered results? Just joking! But i am happy with the result. i thought i did much worse at the time. Lets hope i can carry through with it for the mid sem exam ^_^ Always be optimistic!! Pessimist have no place in this world (though at times i too have been the awful pessimist).

A few last words:
- Trev i win! I sit on on top of the Yaolin ladder while your celler dwelling at the bottom.
- Overalls and bracers (suspenders are used by old laides to keep their underwear up. I found out last year when i asked for suspenders) are cool and should be brought back into fashion (no matter how dorky you feel wearing them)

Transformers...robots in disguise...transformers...more then meets the eyes

Today was the inaugral game of the prestigious Decepticons Football Club (est. 2006) and like most inaugral games, we got thrashed by Christmas Island United. They looked the part in their all black uniforms, classy shoes and set plays.

The Decepticons (Foo, Schepis, Chau, Mailou, Nay, Bateman (a girl!), Kilian, Garrick and Chung) looked quite cool in blue but we were given a hiding: 4 - 1. Schepis scored our only goal in the second half. Chau was the Megatron of the game as he took out the CIU playmaker. The guy injured his wrist pretty bad, but he dived and he deserved an Oscar. I swear he squeezed a tear out.

We didn't play too badly considering it was our first game and we didn't know each others names. A lot of: "hey!! You!! Swap with him!!"

Darren Wong's umpiring wasn't too bad actually but i gave him heaps of grief! Hehehe...so many trangressions that i would argue. Especially head-height stuff, heck the ball was super bouncy and it was so hard to control.

Other stuff happened today that was irrelevent considering we lost.
- Janaka's wife finally delivered a baby girl after 16hrs labor (I think they named her Azaria). Congratulations.
- The Leisure Social Club Inc. is giving away a scholarship. 1000 I think but there is a bunch of criteria you need to fill. Its not hard. Academic record of 30% i think?
- Created a g-mail account.

Chinese New Year...in April?!?

Thats what it felt like this weekend!! And what a weekend it was! Friday night training, Sifu kept saying: "Don't injure Alan, we need him tomorrow for the lion dance".

The lion dance on Saturday was good fun and very very satisfying to get it over with, first time we ever did it. I missed a few of my catches but Trev takes the majority of the blame there, Team Andy was busy arranging the mandarines. Trev wasn't throwing too flash...but i wasn't catching too great either. It was blistering hot inside the lion too; i was sweating pools inside and i think Andy was being cooked too. That happens when your wearing two shirts, two pants, two socks and underneath velvet. The jumps went all fine but i was beginning to tire towards the end just before the swap. I think it was 15mins total

No prizes for guessing who else was at the Festival. Let's just say her name begins with "L" and ends in "yn-Lee". Hmmm...can i buy a vowel? She was confused how we swapped! Duh...I lift andy and his 85+ kg.

We all rocked back to Yaolin and lounged around for a bit (just like CNY) before we headed off. We had Big Trev's party that night too. Much of which will remain behind closed doors. Sorry!! Hehehe...we ended up at Andy's place (as we always do at the end of a night out). Got home super late and the alcomohol put me out until 11am Sunday morning.

Sunday morning i had to help my cousin with his English lit essay. Hmmm...his analysis skills need sharpening. Still...it's early in the year and he could still rake in an A. I was also watching the WCE vs Adelaide game. Yeow! Go WCE! Embers...what a champion.

Off to Yaolin again to do another Lion dance for FKS but this time it was at 5 (so not so hot) and instead of Team Trev-Sean being the other Lion it was Team Sifu-Phillip. Likewise a very good dance that finished with no qualms. I'm regretting not doing the hold though, i swear we could of done it. We've always done it before.

Sifu was super kind to us and didn't call off training. We got back to Yaolin and it was pretty much straight into dragon dancing. The new move was the double-skip with bursh up on the Superman and MSU-Skipnado. I injured my pinky finger, the end of the poles cut it wide open. It was either James or B1 who did it to me, but that was the end of my dragon dancing.

That concludes a weekend packed with lion dance, so much lion dance. And whats more...Big Trev's wedding is coming up. Guess what he wants?

The hills are alive with the sound of music... (re-edited)

As promised, i'm adding details to a very long day. Hope you guys like reading!
Originally we had decided we were going to dim sum on friday, but because of Prosh cancelling all our morning classes it seemed like a much better idea to have it earlier. Shirlz even mananged to come after cancelling and then deciding to skip her CA tute to eat with us (isn't she a great friend? Round of applause!). I met her outside the reid at 10am and then caught Danial on the bus into the city.

We (Dan, Shirlz and I) were a tad late, like 5 minutes, but Kath made it out as if i (she focused it on me) was like 45 minutes late (which i wasn't). Anyways...everyone ended up down at joy garden and it was closed when we got there. We hung around until 11 when it opened and we looked a tad loser-ish. Our party of seven included Shirley, Danial, Kath, Darren, Nissa, Lisa and yours truly.

I like Joy Garden so i'm a tad biased when it comes to judging them. I think its probally in the top 3 places i like to eat at. Good service (tea is refilled without asking or even tipping the lid), ravishing food (mmmm...chicken feet and chau siu bao), looks very nice (all those wood colors and mirrors) and of course its not too expensive. Hence i give it 4.5/5. The -0.5 is because i had to share a table once with complete strangers. They put two different groups on one table...what hell? I was so full, those girls barely ate anything and i had to finish heaps of it.

After dim sum we headed into Timezone were the girls played skill tester (though Lisa didn't clean it out this time) and i got re-accquainted with Time Crisis II. Geeze I'm rusty, i was on 2 lives at the start of the boat scene. Shocking stuff. Tekken 5 was not a good outing for me where i got my ass kicked by Danial and then CPU Heihachi.

It was back into Uni after a fun filled morning, Nissa and Kath missed their tute because of Prosh delays. The ride back was hilarious. The Prosh guys (it was ECOMS faculty) were singing songs and reeked of goon. Ahhh...i remember doing that last year. You gotta be hardcore for charity. Hehehe..."this is the song that never ends..." was for sure the most funny/annoying. Kath brought up the Sound of Music (which my sister is in love with...she gave it up as a sacrifice) and the opening song got stuck in my head. Julie Andrews leaping around was stuck in my head all afternoon.

After two hours of MA with my sister Caroline (hehehe), it was off home and then to training. It was soooo much fun, i don't know what it is about lion dance but everytime i'm in that silver hok san lion its an indescribable feeling. And thats just training, when its an actual performance...unbelievable. Come down to Supreme Court Gardens at 2.30pm on Saturday and 5.00pm and watch the new routine. YEOW!! You don't have to be buddhist, just take a look (at the lion dance ^_^)

Promise forfilled. Hope you enjoyed the re-vamped version of this post.

From A-la-la-la-n Chung

PS: Incidentally for those (i'll just call them S and J for now) of you think I'm self-centered (the whole KOTU thing might of done it)...i'm not. I always look out for my friends. You guys just never see me do it.

Pooh Bear Cleanout

Getting lazier with this blog, it doesn't mean i'm stopping. Just not as frequent. I got heaps of stuff on my plate at the moment. I should sharpen my time management skills.

I'll try keep this brief.

Uni was good, had lunch at the Tav with the Engineering Guys (Danial & Co) along with Shy-ly who took soooo much convincing to come to hang tomorrow or friday but finally had to pull out. Oh well...we can hang another day Shirlz! The Eng Guys had a few drinks, notably Yuen who downed four middies of New in a row. Impressive...sorta, but he had breathers. So really...not THAT impressive. Dan was red after the first one.

Anyways...after the Asian Business lecture i was off home. Sho-mae and her half TC-Hokkien friend wandered off somewhere. She has trouble pronouncing Liru's name. She say's it like Leeee-Ru. Very funny. The notes from the lecture were good though.

I met Lisa on the bus, i didn't even recognise her until about half way to the city. The bus terminated at the Esplanade Busport and we only JUST managed to squeeze into the next bus to Wellington. It was heaps packed.

I was suppose to meet Simon in the city but he ended up just pulling out on me. What the heck is wrong with everyone? Always pulling out on me? Shy-ly and now Simon.

Remember everyone: I pull out on you. Hehehe...just jokes. I totally understand mate-o

So i was with Lisa and her friend, Shin-Ying (Malaysian-born Australian raised), for the arvo. Lisa cleaned out the Timezone skill tester machine, all the little Pooh Bears were at the mercy of the claw. Wheee...i even got 2 of them, a blue one and a green one. Cheers ladies. I've sorta grown up from the Timezone days, but i can see how much fun it is when you win stuff. Instead of just shooting those dudes in Time Crisis I, II and III. Winning stuff is always good.

Lisa headed home after missing her first bus and i walked Shin-Ying to her bus on barrack st where she asked me to go to the Galleria with her. Surprisingly I did (imagine if she had been a stalker like Lyn-lee), i hadn't gone that way home for a while and its better when you have a friend. She made fun of my lisp (its not that bad right?). It ended up to be about another 10 minutes then my normal route so i wasn't TOO fussed. It's always been an alternative, just one i never take.

PS: This is an edit but another piece of evidence of Lyn-lee stalking me. Was sitting with Shirley and Nissa in ITF and Lyn-lee comes in. She just happens to see Nissa and Shirley. She comes over and her first thing she has to say is another accusation blah-blah-blah. My only reply is short and simple.

Obsessed (with me...i didn't say with me but i meant she was obsessed with me)

Penne al Pollo, Helicopters and Everything in Between

Its almost the start of another week and almost the end of another weekend. Both i wish could be delayed longer. I'll try to be quick because i'm vert busy

The weekend was good fun, worked my hands raw on Saturday (being injured didn't help), during lunch I bought the most dissappointing sports magazine which was really 90% ads and maybe 10% articles. Though Saturday night was Sifu's Birthday and all the Yaolin boys (including Super K, Karen and Jayden) head down to Siena's to dinner.

Siena's has a very very good atmosphere, service is okay-good and food is great (i suggest you all try Penne al Pollo). We were there for ages before we headed into the city onto King St Cafe. When I was walking pass the Belgium Beer Bar, i hear a bunch of people calling my name. I look in and see Scotty Molloy, Kath Glossop and a few others i couldn't remember. Chit-chatted and it was off to search for the King Street Cafe.

The cafe is actually very nice but the service isn't great and they shut really early at 12ish (when everyone started elaving) even though their sign says 7am - Until Late. I had a cappucino which was really good, but took ages to come out. Gavin's flat white was extremely salty. It should be because he put salt in it thinking it was sugar. Smooooooothe! Got home really late and just crashed into bed after watching the disastrous falls in 2005 Malaysian Lion Dance National Selection. Bravo to those guys who got up and did it again.

Sunday was study-day. Boring as ever but training was eventful. Lion dance is still a bit rusty but i should have it by friday. Learnt two new moves in the dragon dance too; Helicopter (THE most maddest, insane, cool technique ever!!) and MSU-Skipnado (not really new but got it right). Genting Championships here we come!!!! LOL

Back to study!
