The hills are alive with the sound of music... (re-edited)

As promised, i'm adding details to a very long day. Hope you guys like reading!
Originally we had decided we were going to dim sum on friday, but because of Prosh cancelling all our morning classes it seemed like a much better idea to have it earlier. Shirlz even mananged to come after cancelling and then deciding to skip her CA tute to eat with us (isn't she a great friend? Round of applause!). I met her outside the reid at 10am and then caught Danial on the bus into the city.

We (Dan, Shirlz and I) were a tad late, like 5 minutes, but Kath made it out as if i (she focused it on me) was like 45 minutes late (which i wasn't). Anyways...everyone ended up down at joy garden and it was closed when we got there. We hung around until 11 when it opened and we looked a tad loser-ish. Our party of seven included Shirley, Danial, Kath, Darren, Nissa, Lisa and yours truly.

I like Joy Garden so i'm a tad biased when it comes to judging them. I think its probally in the top 3 places i like to eat at. Good service (tea is refilled without asking or even tipping the lid), ravishing food (mmmm...chicken feet and chau siu bao), looks very nice (all those wood colors and mirrors) and of course its not too expensive. Hence i give it 4.5/5. The -0.5 is because i had to share a table once with complete strangers. They put two different groups on one table...what hell? I was so full, those girls barely ate anything and i had to finish heaps of it.

After dim sum we headed into Timezone were the girls played skill tester (though Lisa didn't clean it out this time) and i got re-accquainted with Time Crisis II. Geeze I'm rusty, i was on 2 lives at the start of the boat scene. Shocking stuff. Tekken 5 was not a good outing for me where i got my ass kicked by Danial and then CPU Heihachi.

It was back into Uni after a fun filled morning, Nissa and Kath missed their tute because of Prosh delays. The ride back was hilarious. The Prosh guys (it was ECOMS faculty) were singing songs and reeked of goon. Ahhh...i remember doing that last year. You gotta be hardcore for charity. Hehehe..."this is the song that never ends..." was for sure the most funny/annoying. Kath brought up the Sound of Music (which my sister is in love with...she gave it up as a sacrifice) and the opening song got stuck in my head. Julie Andrews leaping around was stuck in my head all afternoon.

After two hours of MA with my sister Caroline (hehehe), it was off home and then to training. It was soooo much fun, i don't know what it is about lion dance but everytime i'm in that silver hok san lion its an indescribable feeling. And thats just training, when its an actual performance...unbelievable. Come down to Supreme Court Gardens at 2.30pm on Saturday and 5.00pm and watch the new routine. YEOW!! You don't have to be buddhist, just take a look (at the lion dance ^_^)

Promise forfilled. Hope you enjoyed the re-vamped version of this post.

PS: Incidentally for those (i'll just call them S and J for now) of you think I'm self-centered (the whole KOTU thing might of done it)...i'm not. I always look out for my friends. You guys just never see me do it.

Duh...thats how international students say "What the hell?"

Plus, i've toned down my Grammar Nazi regime. If you haven't realised (i have) there are about a billion typos and grammatical errors in the blog.

Instead i'm trying to resurrect the stupid games we play during CNY. Such as Questions...remeber questions? Was that a question? Are we even playing?
